I bought some beautiful hand-dyed wool from Wool Mountain's de-stash shop. I LOVE it.
I'm making some little pouches with it. The colors are really vibrant. Reminds me of springtime. Yay. I think I'm going to start doing a de-stash of my own. I have SO much yarn. And beads. And who knows what else...
I'm also making some upcycled plastic bag totes... something I've been meaning to try for quite some time. If anyone would like to donate used Target bags for this project by mail, please email me. The Target bags are making a cute polka-dot-like design. I'm shocked that I don't have too many around my house considering my giant Target obsession.
I'm also considering making a kitchen rug out of an old bed-sheet. But I'm not certain how I'm going to approach that.
It's nice to be crocheting so much again... but my wrists are starting to cramp again. Bah.
Also, I want to take up knitting soon.
Wow... manic much?

Was learning to crochet hard? It's something I want to learn to do... and glad you're having so much fun crafting! I look through my ridiculous bag collection and see if there are any target bags...
I actually learned a lot of crochet stitches via Youtube tutorials! It's so much easier when you can see what someone is doing while explaining it.
Yay - thanks for checking :)
ooooh! i dont know if it was here when you were here last time, but we have this cute bath mat that looks like it was made from a big piece of fabric (similar to your bed sheet idea) -- actually it kind of reminds me of when we tied your hair up in little knots during the cruise. the bath mat is basically a big piece of mesh and on every square is a tied piece of fabric. here's some pics!
i took them from my phone so they kind of suck, and kitty wouldnt get out of the way... (i dont know if these links are going to work)

I have an etsy question... if I may pester :) I know etsy charges 3.5% per sale... how do you get payment? Pay Pal right? Do you have to pay another % on that? Any advice would be lovely!
Oh... and no target bags :( Must have used them or tossed them when we moved. But think! A great excuse to visit the store!
So... not to bombard you with posts, but I got the CD today!!! I'm so excited, I love it. And thanks for the goodies, I love them too!! I'm wearing them now!
you could always send stuff to meeeee!
speaking of which i still have stuff from xmas that i was going to give you so send me your address. that's an order, geez.
also, i love the song that pops in my head when seeing that yarn, and just now, i decided that i want to dye and wear my hair in that fashion.
Catching up...
B, I love that mat. I wish I could figure out how to make one!
S, Thanks for checking. I commented on your blog with a response.
N, I'll drop you an email. I have to respond to your other email anyway. I've been swamped. So sorry.
